Aramarama Millennium Footbridge, Mission Bay.
Following the completion of the Rewarewa Creek Footbridge, City Design Architects invited me to collaborate on the concept design of a bridge a Millennium bridge at Mission Bay.
The concept combined the idea of a palisade and protection, with aerial roots of Pohutukawa, and the ethereal form of a Waka prow to acknowledge Ngati Whatua.
Dimensions: Length 17000mm x Height 2000mm
Materials: Steel and concrete.
