The connected vowels float onto the shore referencing the beginning of culture, the saline water of life, tears and childbirth. The vowels contain a migration of sound.
From the H. W Williams Dictionary I referenced the meaning of migration.
A - urge, driving force E - rise, appear above the water I - provision for a journey O - the open sea, the coast U - reach the land, arrive by water.
Dimensions: Approximately Length 2500 x Width 300 x Depth 12mm.
Materials: Marine ply, acrylic paint and unravelled braids of Stockholm tarred rope and beeswax.
