The carved relief forms allude to nurturing and protection.
The triptych is made from three salvaged kauri mantle pieces.
The title of the work originally came from mantle pieces, the draping of veils, womens mantillas and the concept of care and nurturing. The work references environmental guardianship.
Dimensions: Height 1500mm x Width 300mm x Depth 30mm.
Materials: Salvaged Kauri mantelpieces, oil stains, dammar resin and beeswax.
